Pleasant Grove enters the UIL 3A state baseball playoffs with much of the same lineup and mentality as it had last year.

The District 16-3A champion Hawks have seven starters back from last season’s playoff team and will try to end Kemp’s season for the second straight year in an area round best-of-three series at Driller Park in Kilgore, Texas. PG swept the Yellowjackets last spring.
