Texas High was the clear underdog in last year’s Class 4A area playoff series with Highland Park, but that won’t be the case when the two powers meet at 7:30 tonight at Scots Park in Dallas.

Although the Scots lost five starters from the team that swept THS, 4-3 and 7-1, last year, the 10th-ranked Tigers (25-3) are expected to have their hands full with 30-6 Highland Park.

“We know as a team we will have to play our best to beat them,” said Tigers coach Glenn Welch. “And I feel like we’re going to play our best.”
