The Hawks swept Kemp for the second straight year, banged out 10 hits off Yellowjacket ace Nick Sallings, and again took advantage of seven errors in a 10-2 victory Friday in the Class 3A area series at Driller Park.

“I’ve been a little concerned with our hitting, but we swung it pretty good and hit the ball on the nose a lot,” PG coach Craig Jones said. “We were aggressive at the plate and on the bases, and that’s tough to beat. I was glad to see that.”
