Arkansas High’s contest with El Dorado Saturday was different than the previous two meetings, yet the result was the same.

After winning last week’s doubleheader by a combined score of 25-9, the Hogs narrowly defeated the Wildcats, 3-2, at Razorback Field, advancing to the semifinals in the Class 6A state tournament.

In other quarterfinal games Saturday, Sylvan Hills blanked Searcy, 5-0; Jonesboro outscored Benton, 10-5; and Watson Chapel edged Jacksonville, 6-5, in 13 innings.
