WYLIE, Texas—Bowie’s Best, representing Bowie County Special Olympics, brought home 90 medals and several medals from the Area 10 Special Olympic Spring Games held recently at Wylie High School.

Forty-one Bowie County athletes earned 55 gold medals, 20 silver and 15 bronze. They also had six fourth places and a fifth place. Thirty-seven athletes qualified for the Texas Special Olympics Summer Games May 22-25 at the University of Texas-Arlington.
