MARSHALL, Texas—It seemed like the Region II-3A quarterfinal playoff series between Liberty-Eylau and Bullard would never end Saturday at East Texas Baptist University’s Taylor Field.

Even in the end, the four umpires had to meet for five minutes to decide if L-E’s Ashlee Johnson had scored in the bottom of the 18th inning, giving the Lady Leopards a 1-0 victory and the best-of-three series 2-0.
