HARLETON, Texas—Two wild pitches gave New Boston all the runs it would need in the fourth inning as the Lady Lions swept their best-of-three series with Harleton in the Region III-2A quarterfinals, 4-1.

Krystal Capps scattered six hits, allowing only one run in the series.

New Boston (22-8) scored its final two runs in the fifth on back-to-back doubles by Laura Raney and Brooke Duffer. Raney also had a single, while Bailey McDonald and Carly Flenniken contributed singles.
