Texas High junior Josh Turley has been selected Most Valuable Player on the coaches’ 11-4A all-district baseball team for 2008.

Turley, a left-handed pitcher/outfielder, was unbeaten on the mound during the district race and was also the Tigers’ second-leading hitter on the season.
