Trinity Christian hopes to rewrite its history in two ways today as the Warriors face Taylor in the Class A state baseball finals in Fayetteville.

Trinity (21-6) clashes with the Tigers for the fifth time this season and eighth time over the last two springs—with Taylor winning the previous meetings—at 4:30 p.m. at Baum Stadium at the University of Arkansas.

It’s also the Warriors’ second straight appearance in the state finals. They dropped a 19-0 decision to South Side Bee Branch in 2007.
