Pleasant Grove’s football team had a fourth player sign a national letter of intent recently as two-way starter Josh Montgomery signed with Louisiana College.

Montgomery, who started at fullback, tight end and defensive end last season, said one of the main reasons he chose the Wildcats is PG offensive coordinator Todd Elliott and linemen coach Justin Watson attended the school.

“I really liked the coaching staff (at Louisiana College),” Montgomery said. “They’re stable, and they’ve had a lot of success. Plus their coaching philosophy followed close to what we did here....
