L-E (22-4) has scored three runs in its last 34 playoff innings, and the Lady Leopards are 3-0 after beating Frisco Wakeland, 1-0, in nine innings Thursday night at Lady Cat Field.

L-E will be in search of a berth in the Region II-3A finals at 7 p.m. today at Sulphur Springs, when the two schools meet in the second game of their best-of-three series.

If Wakland wins today, a decisive third game will be played here at noon on Saturday.
