Weather delayed the start of Northeast Texas baseball playoff action on Thursday, assuring the Hughes Springs-Harleton and New Boston-New Diana series will end on Saturday, weather permitting.

Those two series were originally scheduled for Thursday and Friday nights with an if-necessary game on Saturday. Now they will start tonight, Hughes Springs and Harleton at 6:30 at Marshall High School and New Boston and New Diana at 7 at Hallsville High School.
