Outlaws fall to Woodlawn

The Bears lost to Parker’s Chapel in the 2A baseball finals last season, but redeemed themselves with a 15-5 run ruling of the Outlaws Friday night at Arkansas’ Baum Stadium. “I’ve got to tip my hat to Woodlawn; they’re a great team,” Outlaws coach Shane Walston said. “We just didn’t make plays when we needed to, and you have to do that against this level of competition.” The Outlaws took an early 5-0 lead in the first inning, but finished with six errors.
