Class 2A Softball Championship: Foreman defeats Dierks

Beasley was ruled safe due to an interference call. Foreman won their third straight title with a 3-0 victory. The Lady Gators played aggressively, defeated Dierks for the third time this spring and three-peated as Class 2A state softball champions with a 3-0 win in the finals Saturday at LadyBack Field. Kayleigh Cody (25-4) earned her second straight MVP award with her performance in the circle.
