Three Ashdown softball players have been named to the Class 4A all-state tournament team, and three were also selected as all-state players during the 2008 season.

Jamie Fleming, who was selected the Most Valuable Player in the state finals, Torie Walthall and Morgan Thrash were named to the all-state tournament team. The Lady Panthers won their first championship, 7-0, Saturday.

Fleming, Walthall—the lone seniors for Ashdown—and Shalie Day were named all-state players.
