BASEBALL: The Texarkana Gunslingers have announced a benefit for 4-year-old Konner Sykes, who recently received head, chest and abdomen injuries and is in the intensive care unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

The team will sell benefit T-shirts, donate a portion of concession sales and auction autographed Gunslingers memorabilia. The shirts can be purchased by calling the gunslingers office (903-793-FUNN) by 1 p.m. Thursday.
