Cardinals facing Cross Roads in regional semifinals

SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas—Malakoff Cross Roads (25-4) impresses Maud coach Cody Finney, but he’s not awed.

The Bobcats and Cardinals clash at 5 today in the opener of their Region III-A best-of-three semifinal series at Sulphur Springs High School’s Wildcat Field. The second game follows tonight 30 minutes after completion of the first game. If a third game is necessary it will be played at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
