PARIS, Texas—Pleasant Grove is a win away from another regional finals appearance under head coach Craig Jones.

The Hawks face fourth-ranked Kennedale in a winner-takes-all showdown tonight at Paris Junior College’s Hub Hollis Field in the Region II-3A semifinals.

First pitch is scheduled for 7.

“Kennedale carries a team batting average near .400 and are extremely tough at the plate,” Jones said. “Their lineup is scary, and they’ve beat some quality opponents.”
