Professional baseball arrives in Texarkana today, and if Friday’s season opener in McKinney is any indication, Gunslingers fans will have the chance to witness a budding rivalry.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at George Dobson Field with the McKinney Blue Thunder providing the competition. The two teams met Friday and Saturday in McKinney, and the first game had to be suspended after 14 innings with the two teams deadlocked in a 3-all tie.
