Arkansas High’s sophomore Logan Gardner was selected to the Class 6A softball all-state team.

Gardner was the Lady Backs starting shortstop and batted .397 for the season and .447 in conference play.

“This is well deserved,” said AHS coach Heidi Cox. “She is a rock on defense and the coaches in the conference saw how solid she was defensively. She was a big part of our offensive batting in the lead off spot.”
