PALO ALTO, Calif.—Arkansas appears to enter the four-team double-elimination Stanford Regional more rested but less sharp than the Pepperdine Waves opposing them today.

Third-seeded Arkansas, 34-22 and ninth overall in the SEC, and the second-seeded West Coast Conference runner-up Waves of Malibu, Calif., meet today at 3 p.m. (CDT) in a first-round game at Stanford’s Sunken Diamond.

Top seed Stanford, the Pac 10 runner-up, and fourth-seeded University California-Davis of the Big West, meet at 7 tonight.
