MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Pleasant Grove is headed south, as far as Round Rock.

The Hawks clinched their second state baseball tournament berth with a 7-1 victory over Pittsburg in the Region II-3A championship game in front of a standing-room-only crowd Thursday at Northeast Texas Community College’s Bob Baker Field.
