Monday’s rainstorm may have been a blessing in disguise for the Texarkana Gunslingers.

There could be some new faces in the Gunslingers’ lineup for today’s scheduled doubleheader with the McKinney Blue Thunder at George Dobson Field.

Right-hander Jordan McCavitt debuts for the Gunslingers on the mound in the 5 p.m. opener. He replaces Ryan Williams, who is no longer with the team.
