The Red River Credit Union American Legion Texarkana Indians still had a ways to go to clinching the final spot in today’s semifinals of their own tournament Saturday at Hawks Field.

The Tribe improved to 2-0 in pool play with a 10-0 run-rule victory over the Shreveport A’s Gold team and was up 1-0 after two innings Arkansas Rockets, a 17-under team from Little Rock, for the Pool 1 berth.
