SHREVEPORT, La.—The Red River Credit Union American Legion Texarkana Indians will compete in the Gametime Academy 18-under Metal Bat Classic, which kicked off Thursday.

The Tribe plays at 3 p.m. and 5:30 today in Pool 1, held at Louisiana State University. The Indians face Gametime Academy 17-under team and League City-Alemeds White today, and play Houston-Bayou City Bears at 2:15 Saturday and Gametime Academy White at 7:30.

The Pool 1 winner plays the Pool 4 champion at 2:15 Sunday with the winner advaing to the finals at 5:30.
