SHREVEPORT, La.—The Red River Credit Union American Legion Indians dropped a pair of one-run games Friday in the Gametime Academy Metal Bat Classic.

The Indians fell to Gametime, 9-8, in the opening game. The Angels scored a run in the seventh inning to secure the victory.

Kendrick Henderson finished 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles and a RBI, and Kaleb Brown added a triple. Randall Fant added three hits, and Duncan Collins and Jake Rogers each contributed a pair of singles.

Texarkana fell to the League City-Alemeds Braves, 5-4.
