BASEBALL: The Texarkana Gunslingers recently signed Nick Riker and Scott VanEs. The right-handed pitchers played together at Felician College. Riker is from Highlands, New Jersey, and VanEs is a native of Secaucus, New Jersey. Rike made his debut on July 6, allowing one run on three hits while fanning six. VanEs has yet to make his debut.
