BATESVILLE, Ark.—The Texarkana American Legion Junior Razorbacks suffered a first-round loss to a familiar foe Thursday in the state tournament.

Texarkana fell to Jacksonville, 5-3. Jacksonville eliminated the Hogs from the state tournament last year.

“They always seem to play us tough,” said head coach Joey Peavy. “They are a talented team and played well. Hopefully we will meet up with them again later in the tournament and have better luck.”
