It’s no accident that some of the loudest cheers at Gunslingers home games are directed toward Anthony Edwards.

The former Ouachita Baptist University outfielder has earned the admiration of local fans with his style of play and a swing that’s put him atop most of the offensive statistical categories in the Continental Baseball League.

But Edwards has no bigger fan than Gunslingers manager Chris McKnight.
