Arkansas High’s golf season begins today with the second annual Razorback Classic at the Texarkana Country Club.

The event starts at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.

The seven-team field consists of Bryant, Benton, Magnolia, Lake Hamilton, Sheridan, El Dorado and the Razorbacks.

AHS coach Charlie Bateman figures on Benton being the Hogs’ toughest competition. Arkansas High won last year’s tournament by a comfortable 13-stroke margin.
