TYLER, Texas—Pleasant Grove claimed the consolation title of the Silver Bracket Saturday in the Tyler tournament played at Lee High School.

The Lady Hawks defeated Kilgore in the consolation finals, 25-19, 24-26, 27-25. Haley Cox finished with 13 kills and 2 digs, and Carly Coopwood contributed 20 assists. Claire Northam and Brittney Rice each added 7 kills.

PG defeated Nacogdoches earlier in the day, 25-12, 25-17. Haley Herrington and Cox both chipped in with 6 kills, and Northam had 7 kills. Coopwood finished with 11 assists.
