There will be a new champion at the 2008 Texarkana Golf Association’s City Championships.

Texas High senior Conner Ribble fired a 5-under-par 67 in the first round at Oak Grove Golf Club and led wire-to-wire to post a 12-stroke victory in the 2007 tournament. He finished the 72-hole event with a 3-over score of 290.

Don Moore won the senior division with a 308 total, nine shots better than four other players.
