MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Trey Norman threw touchdown passes to Brian Reed and Marqueston Houff Thursday in leading Liberty-Eylau’s junior varsity past Mount Pleasant, 29-8.

Reed hauled in a 57-yard scoring pass in the first quarter and Demetric Martin added the 2-pointer. Moments later Houff caught a 53-yard scoring strike and James Kowzic kicked the first of three PATs.

Martin added a 12-yard scoring run and Roy Butler completed the Leopards’ assault with a 23-yard run.

Defensive standouts for L-E included Ricky Starnes, Ruben Larry and D’Macio Cross.
