DAINGERFIELD, Texas—It was an old rivalry with new coaches, but the result was as expected: Daingerfield beat Paul Pewitt 34-8 here Friday night.

Tyler Boyd threw two touchdowns and ran for a third, and Chris Jones scored twice for the Tigers, who ran up a 26-6 lead by halftime to secure Barry Bowman’s second win in two starts. Coach Reggie Kumrow’s Brahmas, now 0-2, were shut out the final three quarters in the loss.
