PEARCY, Ark.—Final scores can be deceiving.

Such was the case in Texas High’s 30-22 victory over Lake Hamilton, Arkansas’ No. 4-ranked team, Friday night at Wolves Stadium.

The Tigers outgained the Wolves 378-264, and held the state’s top-ranked passer, Phillip Butterfield, to three completions in 17 attempts. Still, the THS defense had to stop the Wolves near midfield as the clock ran down to the end of the game.
