Nic Pistolis is off and running well. James Bowie’s talented running back earned player of the week honors for the second straight week after running for 286 yards on 37 carries and scoring twice as the Pirates upset Rivercrest, 36-28.

DeKalb quarterback John Hodges ran for 92 yards, three touchdowns and threw another in a 41-12 win over Queen City. Zach Jones rushed 20 times for 109 yards and a TD for the Bears.
