Charles Carozza will not be the Open champion at the 5th annual Texarkana Golf Association’s City Championships, but he was the hottest topic during Sunday’s second round play at Northridge Country Club.

Carozza is tied with defending champion Don Moore and Wayne Hawkins in the Seniors division despite finishing with three consecutive bogeys. His claim to fame came at the 152-yard 12th hole, which he aced with a 7-iron. The shot was witnessed by Barry Thompson, Scott Turner and Ron Deaver.
