Texas High knocked off two state-ranked opponents Saturday to win its own fall team tennis title.

The 18th-ranked Tigers defeated No. 4 Wichita Falls, 10-8, after defeating No. 10 Waco Midway, 10-6.

“This was a great weekend of competition for all the good teams we had in for our tournament and that is so important for everyone this early in the season,” said THS coach John Watson. “We had a great two days of weather for this time of year, we couldn’t have had better.”
