MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Queen City dropped its District 17-2A volleyball opener to Chapel Hill Tuesday night, falling 25-8, 21-25, 25-15, 28-26.

Haley Patterson served 18 points and had seven kills and two blocks for the Lady Bulldogs. Ashley Edwards added 12 points and four assists, and Pernilia Grundy seven assists and six digs.

Queen City’s ninth grade won 13-25, 25-22 and 25-11. Lindsey Barlow and Dana Zoro served 18 and 12 points, respectively.

Queen City travels to Ore City on Friday.
