Leopards suffer setback against eighth-ranked Gilmer, 28-14

GILMER, Texas—In the end it took a freak play for eighth-ranked Gilmer to put run-oriented Liberty-Eylau away.

The Buckeyes were lined up to attempt a 38-yard field goal with 2:37 left. Braylon Webb fumbled a high snap, picked the ball up and quickly discovered the Leopards had no defenders on their right side. Webb sprinted into the end zone and Gilmer earned a hard-fought 28-14 victory.
