JOHNTOWN, Texas—Hooks improved its volleyball record to 16-6 overall and 2-1 in District 12-2A by defeating Rivercrest Friday, 25-8, 25-14, 25-11.

Alex Townley paced the Hornets with 15 points and 4 kills, Amber Rains had 9 points and 13 assists, Kelsey Jackson and Jazmine Gooden had 7 kills each and Sharneisha Traylor had 5 kills and 4 blocks.
