Chris Rycraw and the Bryant Hornets spoiled Arkansas High’s home opener Friday night at Razorback Stadium.

The Hornets handed the Razorbacks their first home loss since 2005, 17-14, knocking the Hogs to 0-3 on the season.

“It’s disappointing,” said AHS Bill Keopple. “We haven’t been 0-3 since 2005 when we started 0-4. It’s about as disappointing as it gets right now.”

The Hogs went on to win the conference championship in 2005.

Bryant, a Class 7A team, improves to 3-0 this season.
