LONGVIEW, Texas—Texas High won the first game but dropped the next three and the match against Pine Tree in District 13-4A varsity volleyball action Friday.

The host Lady Pirates won 18-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-21.

Texas High (12-13, 1-2) was led by Taylor Robnett with 20 service points and 24 digs, Ashlyn Rybiski had 22 points and 12 digs, Cydney Minter 31 assists, 10 points, 6 digs and 3 kills and Kaci Stilson 10 points and 7 kills.

Pine Tree also won the junior varsity match, 25-9, 25-21. Carlen Kessell had 10 points for THS.
