Mount Pleasant had its chances in the District 13-4A volleyball match against Texas High Tuesday.

However, the host Lady Tigers tilted the contest in their favor with solid defense, passing and net play to claim a 25-18, 21-25, 25-18, 25-13 victory at Tiger Center.

After MP tied the competition at a game apiece, Texas High rallied late in Game 3 to pull away in a back-and-forth game, and built an insurmountable lead in the finale to improve to 13-13 overall and 2-2 in league play. The visiting Lady Tigers remained winless at 0-4 in District 13-4A.
