BROKEN BOW, Okla.—Broken Bow blocked an extra point in the second overtime, as the unbeaten Savages pulled out a 28-27 squeaker against Sallisaw here Friday night.

State-ranked Broken Bow climbs to 4-0 while Sallisaw slips to 3-1.

The teams battled to a 14-14 deadlock at the end of regulation and it was 21-21 at the end of the first overtime.

Sallisaw scored on Matt Mitchell’s 3-yard run in the second extra period, but the extra point was blocked, leading the visitors up 27-21.

The Savages responded with Mitchell Manning scoring on a 10-yard run....
