Maybe Arkansas High did fly in under the radar as far as some Arkansas volleyball teams are concerned, but that shouldn’t take away from what the Lady Backs have accomplished to date.

“We had high hopes, but I guess you would have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this year’s team,” said AHS coach Angela Moody, who is in the middle of her 17th season. “I had no idea how it would play out, but getting to this point has been pleasant for me. We’ve won several championships since I’ve been here, and one of the things those teams had in common was experience.”
