MOUNT VERNON, Texas—Tenth-ranked Pleasant Grove remained unbeaten in District 16-3A play Tuesday by routing Mount Vernon 25-15, 25-9, 25-11.

The Lady Hawks are now 25-9 overall and 4-0 in district going into Friday’s showdown at home against Liberty-Eylau.

Carly Coopwood led the Hawks with 10 points, 13 assists and 4 digs. Brittney Rice added 12 points, 2 kills, 3 blocks and 3 digs. Haley Herrington had 9 kills, and Haley Cox 8 kills and 6 digs.
