Coming back to Texarkana to start the second half of District 13-4A volleyball was bitter for Texas High.

The Lady Tigers were swept by Hallsville, who beat THS in 5 games three weeks ago, and dropped out of a three-way tie for third place with a 25-23, 25-19, 25-21 loss Tuesday at Texas Middle School.

Pine Tree (20-13, 7-0) defeated Longview (15-18, 3-4) in four games to remain unbeaten in league play, and Marshall (17-11, 4-3) moved into third by itself with a four-game victory over visiting Sulphur Springs (11-16, 1-6).
