Jordan Burt and Cody Engstrom combined on a two-hitter in leading the Texarkana Tigers past the Marshall Mavs in the opener of their doubleheader at Spring Lake Park, 3-2. Briscoe Davis had two singles for the winners, with Peyton Stover, Colby Smith and Shawn Shepard adding one single each. Larime Morehead had a double and single for the Mavs.
