Two Texarkana area boxers had impressive wins in the National Boxing Association bouts at the Four States Fairgrounds Saturday night.

Scotty Rossum (Simms, Texas) and Chris Abercrombie (Texarkana) made short work of their scheduled four-round bouts with knockouts.

The 275-pound Rossum knocked out Sergio Platt at the 1:48 mark of the first round. After a barage of punches, Rossum sent Platt to the canvas and did not get up for awhile after being counted out.
